Maggie is an absolutely delightful mare who has a very bright future. At 7 year old and approximately 16.2hh, she would absolutely be able to return to a full performance career after foaling, or enjoy many years as a mum. She was classified into the Hanoverian Main Studbook with excellent scores and comments, with the assessor very impressed with her movement in particular, saying she is an ideal candidate to add Thoroughbred blood to the Hanoverian breed. Maggie is currently in foal to ACE Preliminary Licensed and Elite Assessed stallion, Evening Star Arctic Night, for an early January baby. 

To ride, Maggie is very laid back and very smart. She has an excellent work ethic and tries very hard to please, and isn’t a fizzy type. Her movement is a huge highlight, with a massive walk, flashy trot with above average knee and hock action, plus a slow rolling canter, she would absolutely hold her own in hacking, dressage, showjumping or eventing. 

Our intention was to keep Maggie to have as a school horse allrounder, while breeding with ET for performance horses, however I am no longer teaching and will be focusing on straight dressage in my training and breeding, so her versatility and wonderful temperament would be wasted here, and I would love to see her excel. 

Maggie is a maiden and was fantastic with all breeding work, she took first try, and everything has been textbook to date.

Maggie is great to trim, shoe (currently barefoot), worm, give injections, self loads on the float, travels well, etc. 

Her foal will likely be bay or black, and has a 50% chance of tobiano. Will be eligible for multiple registrations, and was bred to show and event!
