Chevy is the sweetest little man. He is kind, sensible and willing to give anything a go.
Chevy is the first to greet you in the paddock. He is used to sheep, dogs, smoke, fire, chainsaws, traffic, prams, unbrellas, noisy toddlers and leaf blowers. Been on trail rides lead off of another horse and behaved perfectly, not spooky at all. He walks in and checks everything out in sheds without a care and if you let him he would walk into the house! Great for the farrier. Walks straight onto the float. Perfect traveller with or without another horse in both angle and straight load floats. Will tie up all day. Very inquisitive and takes on new things with a calm mind. Walks into water, over bridges and seasaws with confidence. Hes easy to clip and wash, you can even dry him with the leaf blower.
He has been to 4 shows and always behaves brilliantly. His first show it was raining and he didn’t care. His 3rd show was the Perth Royal show were he came home with champion male gypsy cob. He was the youngest horse on the day and acted like a seasoned pro. Nothing fazes this little man!
He will make an awesome all-rounder. Ridden and/or harness. Definitely has the potential to do it all. He has beautiful straight movement to suit dressage, he has shown jumping potential (my older horse aggressively chased him into a corner over a gate, he had no choice but to jump it, which he cleaned jumped), he is very quiet so he would also suit harness. He would be happy to do anything as long as he gets a carrot and a cuddle at the end of the day.
I would consider a swap for another heavy horse 16hh+
