Description
Black is good to catch, trim, worm, tie up and self loads onto the float, heβs currently barefoot. Easy to handle on the ground and can be paddocked alone or with others.
Black is a versatile horse who can;
. crack stock whip off
. lead off motor bike
. swing a roping rope off
. carry a flag
. open and shut gates
Black is a been there done that sort of horse. Heβs competed all over WA, this year stepping up to medium dressage. He has been to ag shows, blackwood marathons, ASHS youth camp, trail rides, pony club, dressage and showjumping competitions including pony club state events and interschools.
Black is a quiet type and the horse I pick from the paddock to put beginners on.
He has established shoulder-in, traverse, renverse, leg-yeilds, half-pass, counter-canter and rein back, his flying changes are still developing. He has competed up to 80cm although when jumping he requires a confident rider to guide him, for this reason he is more suited to dressage, which has been my main discipline with him. He has a soft mouth and is ridden in a snaffle.

I believe Black would suit a teenager looking to move up the dressage levels, or an adult rider looking for a quiet horse to trail ride and learn some dressage.
He has a very friendly personality and thrives off attention.
Black will only go to the best of homes.
