Description
Gilli was given fairly extensive training as a young horse with professional trainers and was then sat in a paddock doing nothing for a number of years.
He has been at my place for the last couple of months mostly ridden by a teenager that agists here being bought back into work and having his training tuned up.
He has a soft mouth and lovely smooth flowing movement and I think he will do well in the dressage arena once in full work and with someone who has interest in that. He is a very clean and careful jumper and with a few confidence building outings he will quickly become a competitive jumping pony.
We took him down to the beach as his first proper outing and bareback ride and whilst he was a little spooky at the water to start he settled quickly and was happy to canter down the beach with three other horses and go swimming.
I believe that with a few months of consistent work and exposure he will quickly become a very fun and consistent pony.
