Description
Red is a
very flashy Arabian Warmblood for sale on behalf of his owner.
Due to lack of time his work has being sporadic.
He has a lovely soft floating trot and smooth walk under saddle however is not established in the canter due to a lack of balance and strength.

He has just
come into light work at my place to sell him and has settled quickly.
He will spook at times but his reactions are not extreme and there isn't anything dirty.
He will need an confident rider as he takes his lead from his handler and will suit someone who is willing to put the work in and wants something that is big and flashy to enjoy.

Big Red was broken in by Neil Innus in Margaret River.
He has a lovely
kind nature and is a beautiful horse to own.
He is friendly and
comes up to you in the paddock and enjoys the company of his owner.
He can be
nervous when going to new places and when taken away from his horsy friends so
is not suitable for beginners.
He is polite
and well-mannered on the ground, and he is good to tack up but will sometimes
get nervous or fidget when tied up.
He has been
bush riding and has being ridden out around the farm.
He is lots of
fun to ride and he likes forming a bond with his rider.
He is a gentle
sensitive horse and need a competent kind rider to become his partner going
forward.
He has never
bucked, reared or bolted under saddle even when being broken in.
Out in the
paddock Big Red is good with fences and gets on well with other horses, he fits
into a mob and is not a boss horse.
Approximately
16.2hh but has not been measured.
He has lovely
big ground covering movement so is a pleasure to watch when in work.
Under saddle
his walk and trot are well established, and he has a lovely soft outline and is
responsive to light leg aids.
His canter is
still unbalanced but is improving he has a tendency to change leads when
he looses balance.
Big Red is a
trusting horse who likes people and tries his hardest to do his best.
He has a
sensitive light mouth and consequently he stops with very light pressure, and
even backs up very easily.
He has
excellent even conformation, clean legs, lovely movement and no injuries.
He is a
sensitive horse so requires a kind and understanding rider/handler who has an
independent seat and hand as he is light and responsive.
