Queenie is a rising 14 year old Thoroughbred mare, she’s a beautiful girl who deserves a forever home!
We are about to do an around Australia trip for the next year or so and she doesn't deserve to be sitting in the paddock for that whole period.
Queenie would be best suited to a competent rider to bring her back into full work. She's been ridden whenever I'm been on RNR and is the type that can just be picked up for a ride from the paddock, especially for trail riding.
She's a mare with presence in the arena and demonstrates a good work ethics, especially once She's in full work.
Has done, Liberty clinics, horsemanship clinics, novice trekking, lots of miles in trail riding. Dressage and flat work. Lots of beach rides/swims.
She needs an experienced rider who is willing to be patient bringing her back into work.
Would suit someone wanting to do trail rides, flat work, dressage, adult riding etc. Not really suited to jumping, though she has done jumping and cross country with her previous owner.
No bad ridden vices, though she can run backwards when not confident in the rider or situation. Takes confidence from her rider in these situations and will settle and go forward.
Never an issue in full work.
She's a mild windsucker, dentist has confirmed there is no compromise to her teeth from windsucking.
