Description
Selling on Behalf:
Since racing May has been trained and competed in A-D grade polocross where she was used as the horse for people to learn on, she also was used for trail riding for riders of all sorts of levels of rider ability. She is very responsive to leg, neck reins and has good breaks. She is an easy going mare and could be paddocked alone or in company. Can be ridden alone as well as in company. Doesn’t require consistent work, although would love a job. Not spooky, brave and confident.
Has been floated in a truck and float, good to load and travel in any way.
Currently barefoot but would benefit from shoes when in full work.
Stands perfectly for the farrier, due for dentist and farrier and probably vaccinations as well.
While she’s been with us, we’ve taken her off property a couple of times and she has shown some anxiety around it but ok once working. She did have a few months off being ridden, she then came to us to come into work and sell which she has done very well, she’s not consistent in her work yet and needs to still build muscle and put some more weight on. She has some history which we are happy to discuss (hense the anxiety when out) but we’re working a lot on it and with the right experienced person she will be absolutely fine! She doesn’t really understand what we’re asking when riding in the arena although she’s learning slowly! She’s been ridden by myself (18yo) and my friend who is 14, as well as my mum and her owner in the last 4 months and proven to be safe.
She’s had a little go at poles and tiny Xpoles, could make a good little jumper!
Must be a kind, confident, and experienced home!
