Description
7yr old green broken highland pony gelding. Ready to go on with.Fabulous under saddle, responsive to leg, seat and voice. Super light and soft in the mouth. No spook, buck, bolt or rear but can be sensitive to noise.
Ridden out around the farm solo, with my daughter and sometimes with my son on his motorbike.
Done some basic pole work
We have been working on his canter transition and picking up the correct lead. His canter is still unbalanced and rushy to start. His down transition are very light and he has excellent whoa!
At this stage of Bows ridden career he requires consistency. He is not suitable for someone who can’t keep him in work 4/5 times a week, nor is he suitable for anyone but an experienced rider with the knowledge to produce their own horses.
Bow is generally good to catch, currently lives on couple acres with my daughter’s gelding. Front feet are easy to trim, hinds need to be patient.
Good to wash, clip bridle path and rug. Floats like a champ.
Had his teeth done in Jan, needs a top up in 6 months.
He has the potential to be a fantastic all rounder, he would also do well in events such as agility and working equitation. Down the track I think he could be wonderful kids mount.

Bow recently attended his first outing, he went to a local breed show. He was absolutely perfect all day. He was easy to show prep in the lead up to the show, he stood tied to the truck all day. He was not at all affected by the show environment/loud speaker.
He was shown both in hand and under saddle and handled the day like a pro.
