We have owned Josie for  just over two years.  We purchased Josie hoping that  she could become a second ridden pony club / dressage pony for our daughter.

 Unfortunately over time we have found  this hasn’t been the case and although we love her dearly and she has taught our daughter so much, she is no longer living her best life with us.

Josie is a sensitive lady who can be head shy. When being caught and haltered. She will take time to form trust and a bond and can be difficult to catch. 

Josie has  has lovely ground manners ( once her halter is on) and is  great for farrier etc. she is currently bare foot and has been since we’ve owned her. She is up to date with worming, teeth and feet. 

Josie is very sensitive and can be tense  under saddle  mostly in nee environments , she has never bucked, reared, bolted, kicked or bit.  She is well educated on the flat and enjoys being out on trails. she needs a rider with a cool seat and soft hands. 

We would like Josie to go to an experienced home with a kind, gentle and capable adult or older experienced teen rider. I would ideally like for her to go to a  a pleasure / bush hack or natural horsemanship  home  or even a companion home. Josie must be paddocked with a friend, and she will suffer separation anxiety if left alone.
