Description
9yo Black Thoroughbred mare by Patronize and from a Rory’s Jester mare. Approx 15.3hh
Huge moving, beautiful mare and incredibly sweet. She loves being fussed over and is always the first to the gate.
Ziggy is great to catch, trim, float, wash, rug etc.
Up to date with worming, dentist and farrier
Does not like clippers. We have taken her to one event (ag show) and she handled the prep well but wasnt happy in the ring so would need more outings and exposure
We have lunged her several times and been on her twice in walk with no issues but I am not sure what she is like under saddle other than this. Chatting to the trainer that had her apparently she was good under saddle but I can’t confirm this. She would need an experienced rider to bring her on
We got ziggy in June, very skinny and full of sand. Lots of love and care, she is ready to go on with.
We had planned to add her to our broodmare band but we have decided not to go down this path and stick with our purebred welshies
