Alby is a 6yo 16.3 hh ottb gelding by Alfred Nobel.
Retired from racing in March 2024, sound and no scars, having a 2 month spell before commencing ridden work.
He’s is a lovely willing to please boy, established a lovely balanced collected trot, developing stronger pick up of canter leads and up and down transitions. Plenty of scope to make a fantastic show jumper.
Alby has been to a few show jump outings including a training day and the Geraldton 3 day show jumping classic where he won in his first 70cm in good competition. As well as placing the rest of the weekend to bring home the best performed off the track.
Alby will need an experienced soft rider to further his education as he can still be a baby and is still got a lot of experience to go, He has 2 more outings SJ in September then will be available. He has been professionally bit fitted which I’m happy to discuss with genuine buyers and any further questions.
Great with dogs, can be lead of the Ute, easy to float, ties to the float at shows happily, up to date teeth/worm/farrier
He is being sold on due to no fault of his own, he’s for sale by his racing connections who wanted him to have some education before being moved on. Price is negotiable to an experienced home only.
