Gibralter Dancer (Gibbo)

Gibbo is a lovely 16hh, 8yo thoroughbred . He is a cruisy and comfortable ride for anyone looking for a pleasure horse. He is comfortable being ridden by himself, even in the forest, he does not shy. He also has great potential as a safe project horse for someone just starting to train their own horses.

I started my training with him in January this year, with the previous owner already having started his re-training. He is a cruisy guy to ride with a soft mouth, I have never felt out of control. Even when I push him up to a gallop, when I removed the pressure he would rate himself back to a nice pace and be easy to stop.

No vices – has not bucked, bolted or bitten.  

Easy to farrier, float, truck

Good with dogs, motorbikes, tractors, ect.

Holds condition well over summer

Few scars on his leg, does not affect his movement.

He did have issues being hard tied. This has stopped being a problem now after months of training.
