Ellie is an extremely beautiful mare in foal to Townes Metallica. She is a proven beeeder having three other foals which we are retaining.

I bought Ellie as a weaner based on her impeccable breeding. I got an early foal from her after she was broken in but before she commenced her sport career.

Unfortunately Ellie did not enjoy playing polocrosse, which is the main thing our family competed in. I tried very hard, putting hours into her training but to no avail. She was an incredible mare to ride. She was super soft, very responsive and you really felt like you were sitting in her, not on top (if you know what I mean).

I’ve kept her because of the above attributes to breed from, but with my kids growing up and off, I need to cut down on the number of broodmares I have.

Her foal will be unbelievable. Metallica needs no introduction in the campdraft world, mixed with Ellie’s type and bloodlines you will get a cracker!

Ellie could then be brought back into work and used as a hack, dressage, pleasure horse… or introduce her to campdrafting. She’s young enough to have a good ridden career or pop out heaps more foals.
