Very sad sale. Blacky is for sale due to no fault of his own, I unfortunately no longer have the time for him.

 Blacky is truly a wonderful horse who deserves only the best of homes. I originally owned him a few years back but sold him due to moving countries. He was given back to me when I returned with no fault.

Always the first to greet you at the fence. He loves attention and will pick you over food or a patch of grass. Certainly loves his cuddles and a good treat.

Blacky still has so much to give, he is very honest and tries his absolute hardest to please in anything he does. On the first day I got him back he hadn’t been ridden for almost a month, I jumped on him bareback with a friend and rode him around the arena and didn’t put a foot wrong. He can be ridden alone or in company. In a group he prefers to be out front but will still happily trail behind. Loves to jump, he has never refused a jump and can easily do it at a trot or canter.

However, Blacky is a thoroughbred and can have his moments. Without the right encouragement and confidence he can get anxious in new situations. He has never done anything major while I’ve had him, just won’t stand still and paws at the ground.

While I have put beginners on Blacky, he will only be sold to a confident teen or an intermediate adult.

Blacky would also be well suited to a riding school.

Blacky comes with all his gear including rugs except the saddle.

Price is non-negotiable as he is a one of a kind horse and is worth so much more.
