2008 homebred mare with great bloodlines and fantastic movement. Very easily could have excelled at either showjumping or dressage had I not started competing internationally in another sport in 2014 and unfortunately as a result, didn't get to take Shimmer out as much as we would've liked. 

Shimmer has successfully competed up to 1.00-1.05m, with numerous placings along the way.  Shimmer is great to catch, float, shoe, worm etc. We spent a lot of time on her foundations and groundwork and believe this reflects on how manageable she is to handle. She is also voice trained on the lunge.

She had a foal in 2022 and since then Shimmer hasn't done much at all as I have been studying and travelling.  She has been pulled out of the paddock and taken to a couple of Adult rider rallies with my Mum this year and hasn't put a foot wrong,  but will need regular work and conditioning to build her muscle and topline back up.  

Unfortunately with full-time work and not living at home, Shimmer is just sitting in a paddock going to waste.  

She would suit a junior/amateur rider looking to move up the grades in showjumping or someone looking for a dressage project.  Shimmer is very talented, but can be a spooky warmblood at times.  As a result, she needs a confident rider who will spend time developing a relationship with her.

As Shimmer is a home-bred mare, we would like to start with an on-property lease with the option for an off property lease/sale if the right home is found. We are located in Bullsbrook and the on-property lease includes all feed, supplements, rugging, feeding, water etc and use of floodlit riding arena + stable/yard if needed prior to an outing. There is also the Bullsbrook Bridle Trail close to our home for bush riding. Lessee will need to cover farrier, annual teeth/drenching/vaccinations and worming plus have some sort of personal accident insurance (EA, Pony Club, Adult Riders or private coverage).
