Description
Eddie is petite so suit a Small adult or older teenager. We purchased Eddie in July, with the hopes he would be my daughters junior competition horse. He has a lovely personality, a family member, and easy for all ages and abilities to handle on the ground. He is probably the friendliest thoroughbred we have ever come across. Unfortunately for us he isn't suitable to compete, jump and handle the high work load we had purchased him for.
He is a thoroughbred and has typical thoroughbred moments making him unsuitable for a beginner or nervous rider. He can get anxious on his own. He loves to work in company, fantastic at pony club, prefers to be the lead in a group and stand patiently in a line up for ages. He had spent the last year or so doing jumping with his previous owner.
He has a soft kind way of going, and light to the aids. Can be ridden bareback and in a halter. Someone in his past has put a bit of work into him schooling elementary level movements. He loves to keep his mind busy and has shown a real love for inhand work. He would really suit someone who wanted to do a lot more liberty/inhand/ even trick training without a daily full time riding workload. He may even suit a RDA centre or Therapy Group where the work load is lower, and so many people to entertain and cuddle.
He has been out of work since September. Has only had groundwork since. He is a wind sucker. Must be paddocked in a heard, no stabling or individual paddocks. He needs to be part of someones family, so Agistment life wouldn't suit him. Softer flatter paddocks unlike the Wooroloo Hills hard ground he is currently on. Access to feed 24x7. Loves being ridden with others so suit someone who rides with a small group. For the right home, he will make someone a wonderful best friend.
