Romeo
This is Romeo, show name Kalimnar Valentino. I have had him for just over 10yrs and he has taken me exactly where I needed to go, sadly our journey has finished. He’s an all rounder pony who will give you a run for your money. He’s definitely not for the faint hearted but he has made me into the confident rider I am today.
He hasn’t been in work for the last 3 years as I’ve not had the time for him. I have the option to either fully retire him to spell or put him though his last paces to see him fill his final purpose. I know 100% that he still has all the spirit left to keep him going for another 10yrs.
In those 3yrs he has lost a lot of condition as he has gotten more separation anxiety in his older years so if he does go to a good home he will need a friend or just to be by himself. I have competed him up to elementary dressage, done inter-schools, HOTY, 2nd at young dressage rider of the yr, done a few ODE’s, many show jump comps between 45-80cm (above 90cm and he starts stopping), at home jumped him 110cm nicely, also done pony club my whole life at many clubs.
He loves a good trail ride as long as he has a dummy horse unfortunately. Open fields no problem but he just doesn’t have the courage on his own for trails.
The perfect rider for him would be someone who is looking to do all round equestrian but more towards the dressage/hacking side with a sprinkle of jumping. Someone who also wants to gain confidence and improve their riding capabilities.

- Can cat leap with jumps
- Will need a few months work to get him in working condition
