Description
Bentley ‘The Chorister’ is a 16hand Thoroughbred Gelding rising 14. Bentley is best suited to show jumping or eventing home as he loves to jump and has a nice scopey jump. He is currently competing 95 eventing and 105 show jumping. Bentley is an easy horse to have around and take out as I do everything by myself. He is great for the farrier, falls asleep to be clipped (no sedation needed) and is up to date with teeth. He is currently shod all round but we have extremely hard ground so could defieantly get away with front shoes if need be. He’s great with cows and can open and close gates while riding him.
Bentley is best suited to an intermediate rider as when it comes to jumping he does get strong and is quite keen and is quite spooky on the flat. He is a very honest ride and looks for each jump out on course. He is training traver and shoulder in at home and competing novice dressage.
He does have lumps and bumps on his legs but I swear he is the soundest horse ever and the lumps and bumps have been checked by vets and after a flexing test he has got the comment ‘trots out better than most 2* horses’.
Bentley is up for sale due to no fault of his own, I feel like my riding style doesn’t suit him and he has talent to go further with someone who has more experience or give someone more confidence jumping.
