Merrydell Elegant Diva AKA “Diva” is a 12hh showjumping pocket rocket.

Unfortunately we have come to the time where my daughter has outgrown her super pony. It is with an extremely heavy heart I offer this darling girl up for sale.

We bought Diva for my then 8 year old daughter in 2021 and in 3 years they have gone from both being complete beginners to this year going to Tamworth and competing in the National Interschool Championships in the showjumping and Combined Training.

Diva had been broken in and then sat in a paddock for quite a few years when we purchased her. My daughter Mae taught her everything she knows since then. 

Diva has done Pony club, State showjumping, hicksteads, eventing, Interschool Championships, games, show horse, trail rides, pony rides… pretty much anything you can think of for a 12hh pony.

Diva has a beautiful nature, she will be the first to come up to you in the paddock, loves kisses, cuddles and especially treats!

She can be ridden bareback, loves the beach, easy to float, trim, worm, clip etc.

Diva excels mainly in showjumping up to 75cm with 70cm to 75cm being her ideal heights. Very rarely unplaced. She is a point and shoot pony and would have the biggest heart and the smallest legs in most of her classes.

This year we took her to Tamworth for The National Inter school championships where they placed 6th in a hugely competitive 70cm showjumping class (and were the smallest in it) She did not miss a beat travelling for 4 days over there, stabled for the week and then travelled 4 days home. She walked off the truck back in WA like nothing had happened. She is truly a dream pony!

She recently has been wormed, teeth done and vaccinated. She has regular trims 5 weekly. Her feet are excellent and never had to be shod. She is an extremely “good doer”. 

Never foundered or had colic.

Diva does get attached to her paddock mates as most ponies do, absolutely great to take out on her own. Her flat work could do with some work but my daughter has mainly wanted to showjump, with a bit more work on the flat she would be an outstanding little show pony or dressage star.

She recently competed at the Busselton Winter Showjumping in November 2024 placing in every class (and being the smallest in it) but has now gone on her summer spell.

Diva will only be sold to a 5 star home approved by her best friend Mae. It is not essential she be sold if we can not find her a fantastic home but we do not want her to be wasted as Mae is going on to her next pony in 2025.

Diva comes with saddle, bridle, show and paddock rugs.
