7 year old, 15h, Of the track gelding by Holy Roman Emperor
Dennis retired from the track in mid 2023 when we took him on, following a decent break to let down.
Dennis has a really sweet, kind nature and is fairly easy to do everything with, though he has a good brain he will still require an experienced rider due to his limited ridden education.
In the time we’ve owned him I have taken him to an of the track clinic where he was foot perfect and received nothing but great comments. He’s been to an indoor arena which didn’t phase him as well as a show-jump arena hire.
I have taken him around a small course of 45s where he didn’t look at anything and tried his best however due to being on the forehand I have not pushed him any further until he’s in consist work and using his hind end more.
Dennis is good to catch, good for the farrier, worming and floating. He is currently shod on all 4s and teeth were done last April.
Dennis is currently out of work and has been for the last few months so will be sold as is out of work.
No leases, trials, beginners or tire kickers, though he is quiet he is still an of the track thoroughbred and needs someone who can help him along the way. Unfortunately due to time constraints with uni, a toddler, work and other horses, Dennis has unfortunately drawn the short straw.
