A perfect mix for a sport horse to succeed in multiple different disciplines. Registered with the Australian Warmblood Horse Association (AWHA) and with the Clydesdale Cross Sporthorse Association.  Eligible for registration with the Thoroughbred Pleasure and Performance Society of WA (TPPHSWA) as a part bred TB and eligible for registration with the Arabian Horse Society of Australia (AHSA) as an API.
Bred in the purple and raised in a large pasture with correct balanced nutrition Larry is very well conformed and has had a brilliant start to life.
Larry’s sire, Lord Larmarque (IMP) is a beautifully put together stallion with expressive paces and an unbeatable temperament. Winner of multiple supreme titles at major shows across
Australia. He has previously been ridden by Para Equestrian Sharon Jarvis and was campaigning toward Tokyo Paralympics before an injury caused him to miss out on selection events. Now fully recovered and back in WA Lord Larmarque is back in work and cleaning up at shows in WA. Lord Larmarque has consistently produced talented trainable progeny who have been successful in a range of disciplines. Comments from riders and trainers of progeny are that they are extremely rideable and trainable with exceptional temperaments. Larry is no exception to that!
Larry was recently judged by New Zealand Grand Prix dressage rider and Tokyo Olympic Games hopeful John Thompson at the AWHA National Tour where John scored him a 80.71%. Larry received a 9 for his foundations  (confirmation of legs) with overall comments of a strong solid typey foal with great uphill tendency. A nice sloping shoulder with a powerful hindquarter and nice turn of neck. Larry was the highest scoring WPRB colt under 1 year of age In WA!
Larry also recently attended the Bibs and Booties Youngstock show where he came away with
– Champion Registered Heavy Horse colt
– Champion Warmblood colt
– Supreme Warmblood exhibit.
This show was his first show outing and he handled it like a seasoned pro. Happily tied to the float, chilled at the sidelines in between classes and trotted out better and better each class.

Larry also attended the AWHA WA State Championships where he was awarded;
– Champion WPRB Colt Foal
– Best Foal of Show

This was Larry’s second show and he stood tied to the float all day in between his classes as we took 5 horses to this show so he had to wait for everyone to finish there classes before we headed home.
Larry has also attended an outing at Louise Crosbie and Candie Jades property where he went over obstacles, through ball pits, over tarps, under flags and between pool noodles.
Larry has also had in hand training with professional handler Steve Mucco to set him up for success in the show ring.
All the hard work has been done for you. Larry is good to catch, worm, tie up, float, rug, wash, brush and great for the farrier. He is up to date on his feet, worming and vaccinations. He is easy to work with and very trainable. He has a quiet nature and loves people. Everyone who has met him has commented that they can’t believe he is a weanling  because he behaves so impeccably.
Viewings are welcome at any time. Larry is currently located in Darling Downs on the same property as his sire so you are welcome to see his sire and his brilliant temperament too.
