Timmi

Welsh Riding A

Description

Rising 8 chestnut welsh riding pony.

Timmi is a handsome 12’2 chestnut gelding with a cheeky side. My 13 year old has been riding Timmi for almost 2 years but between netball, football, gymnastics and studies, he’s not getting the time under saddle that he needs to maintain his education. My daughter has finally admitted she doesn’t have the time or commitment anymore. To say I’m disappointed and saddened is an understatement. I adore this pony.

When he is ridden frequently, Timmi is a good boy but if he’s left a few weeks without a ride, he can be naughty on those first few rides back on him. Please only enquire if you can give Timmi the time he needs. He needs to be ridden more than once a week.

Timmi is still considered green and likes to test the boundaries so would suggest he’s to go to an experienced rider with a strong hand who can instil discipline.

We’ve never tested Timmi with jumps but I’m confident he would be a good jumper as one time he ended up in the neighbour’s yard with their horses and no broken fence 😂

Timmi is used to being around other animals. We have dogs, alpacas, goats, ducks and geese at our place. He’s not a big fan of geese but the other animals don’t bother him.

Timmi sees the farrier every 7 weeks.

Timmi loves a carrot treat and is very affectionate. He knows his name well. He comes in to the stable at dinner time and neighs if you’re late giving him his breakfast.

Timmi comes with all his accessories - halter, lead rope, bridle, saddle, rugs, fly veil and grooming gear.

This is an INCREDIBLY hard decision. My daughter is heart broken but understands it’s a waste if he isn’t getting frequently ridden. We have all fallen in love with Timmi and want to be kept updated on how he’s going with new owners.
Please only enquire if you can give Timmi the time he needs.
